UNIVERSAL CREDIT and Working Tax Credit payments were increased by more than £1,000 per year for a year in March 2020 in response to the coronavirus crisis. With legacy benefits claimants having experienced a rise in living costs during the Covid pandemic, the UK Government is being urged to increase support.
