Wealth tax of 1% recommended - Rishi Sunak & PM have ‘a number of difficult choices ahead’

WEALTH tax proposals and debates have been occurring for some time now as wealth inequality continued to be a problem and coronavirus forced the world to look for additional sources of funding. Within the UK a Wealth Tax Commission, a body made up of academics, policymakers and tax practitioners, was set up in the spring to look into the feasibility of such a tax and today they have released their final report on the option. -»
