COUNCIL tax debt problems have been exacerbated by coronavirus this year, with Citizens Advice detailing that an extra £700million of council tax debt has been accrued by 800,000 households since March. Fortunately, a new "breathing space" scheme being introduced in 2021 should help with these debts.
