Banking break up proposal is 'short sighted 'despite it working for Margaret Thatcher

BRITISH banks have and financial operations have come under scrutiny recently, with the All-Party Group on Challenger Banks and Building Societies calling on the government to look into breaking up the major banks to drive more competition in the market.
