IT'S FAIR to say, it's been a week of many firsts. And we're still only on Thursday. In yet another unprecedented move, this afternoon the Bank of England slashed the Bank Rate to 0.1 percent, the lowest rate ever on record for the ‘Old Lady of Threadneedle Street'.
