MANY hard-working Britons have never even heard of Insurance Premium Tax , despite it costing households an extra £200 each year on their insurance bills. IPT has been condemned as a “raid on the responsible” as calls grow for the Government not to further hike the stealth tax in the upcoming Autumn budget.
