Universal Credit UK: DWP ‘will not reverse’ legacy benefit issue costing claimants

UNIVERSAL CREDIT: Individuals may face being transferred from legacy benefits to Universal Credit, or told by the Department for Work and Pensions to make a claim via the new benefits system. Some claimants ended up losing out financially from these transfers and recently when questioned on potential remedies for this, Secretary of State for Work and Pension Thérèse Coffey confirmed there would be no further action taken. -»
