Child Benefit: Claimants could lose entitlement for children in care or hospital

CHILD BENEFIT can be claimed by anyone who is responsible for bringing up a child who is under 16 or under 20 if they're in approved education or training. The current rates for child benefit are £20.70 for the eldest child and £13.70 for every other child. However, changes in circumstances can affect the payment, including if the child ends up sick and in care. -»
