UNIVERSAL CREDIT may be paid to a person or couple in order to help with living costs, should they be on low income or out of work. Yesterday, Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd announced there would now be automatic guidance on getting the payment, in an effort to help victims of domestic abuse.
