HOUSE prices UK: It seems that the late wintry showers combined with the early Easter break had an impact on the housing market last month, according to a report issued by mortgage lender the Halifax this morning. The data suggests that the average house price slipped in April to £220,962 from the previous recorded high of £228,102 in March.
